Let's face it: there are things where size matters. The Bravus II 12D makes perfect use of its volume to provide you with absolute bass fireworks as a spectacle. In the closed housing, the active 12 "aluminum driver, together with the two 12" passive radiators and the 850 watt digital power, electrifies your room with explosive basses that you have to hear and feel. This allows maximum impulse fidelity to be combined with the highest levels. This subwoofer is also unparalleled in terms of room excitation. If you want a punchy, powerful and precise bass in connection with music or film in your room, just press the order button. Prepare to be moved - literally.
Single 12 "active & dual 12" passive ultra-longstroke aluminum driver
We developed the Bravus II 12D with three specially developed aluminum drivers for absolute maximum performance. The active driver, designed according to the downfire principle, connects perfectly to the existing room. The two passive radiators on the side take on the task of making the bass even more powerful and precise. Their opposite orientation effectively eliminates internal resonances. Thanks to the closed housing construction, the balancing act between precision and powerful bass is a breeze. All three drivers are designed as ultra-longstroke membranes and are therefore extremely resilient.
850W digital power amplifier
The extremely efficient high-performance amplifier of the Bravus II 12D delivers up to 850 W and drives the active driver with the shortest pulses. In addition to brute home theater basses, subtle musical foundations with punchy impulses can also be reproduced. Despite its exceptional performance, the amplifier remains cool due to its high efficiency, even during long operations.
Design fabric covers
The metal brackets ensure a secure hold of the two side covers. The black acoustic fabric is completely opaque and completely sound-transparent. Possible damage to the speaker is also effectively prevented. If you don't want to see the membranes, you are in good hands with this variant. So the entire subwoofer looks like a design element. But even if you want to watch the drivers while working, you won't miss out. The covers can be removed, giving a clear view of the aluminum membranes.
Subwoofer as sound furniture
Due to the special construction principle as a closed construction with two passive radiators, the Bravus II 12D can generate brute pressure from a handy housing. The housing itself consists of 25mm HDF and is stiffened several times. The subwoofer is available in four different versions. Satin black and white adapts perfectly to your living environment, as does the high-gloss black version. The cherry veneer is applied perfectly and contributes to the exquisite overall impression of the subwoofer. Even the highest demands on the processing of this fine sound furniture are met and make the subwoofer not only a feast for the ears but also for the eyes.
Flexible connection options
In addition to the two gold-plated RCA inputs and the LFE input for AV receivers, the Bravus II 10D can also be connected to your amplifier via the high-level input. This variant is particularly useful if your amplifier does not have a special subwoofer output, because you can easily connect the subwoofer to the loudspeaker output of your amplifier. You can also control the volume, crossover frequency and phase continuously at the terminal.
