The sonic result is surprising. I would have assumed that the two were as alike as one egg to another - except that the fat one had more oomph. Well, they are similar. But the AperionAudio Bravus II 12D plays a little softer and more voluminous, the smaller AperionAudio Bravus II 10D seems crisper, perhaps even a touch more musical. However, it lacks the last half octave and the associated warmth that the larger model radiates. The 10D certainly combines more harmoniously with precise, fast speakers. Either way, both are good: let the bass orgies begin. - Go to Review
