Lowbeats tests a surround set from the Novus series - Lowbeats tests a surround set from the Novus series

The subwoofers from AperionAudio are always a great recommendation - at least if you listen to a lot of music and not just shooting movies. The Center C5 is also excellent and harmonizes perfectly with the T5 floorstanding speakers. And they also had a clean performance with us. However, I think they are a bit too expensive. Tonally they are really good, but in terms of maximum level, depth and resolution there are strong alternatives in their price range. But do they look that good...?

The result is different: The floor-standing speakers are good, but they don't stand out from the crowd in their class. They are particularly appealing because of their chic and tonal intensity. And they have another huge advantage: the T5 are less installation-critical than most other floor-standing speakers in this class. This makes them even more attractive for placement in a pretty living room.

The multi-channel set also scores with a really good price/performance ratio. For not that much more money, it offers a noticeable increase in power and experience. If you listen to a lot of music and want to watch films from time to time, this is a first-class alternative that - and this is not a given - is really nice to look at.
