Single 10 "active & dual 10" passive ultra-longstroke aluminum driver
With its three membranes, the Bravus II 10D subwoofer drives deep bass with maximum precision into the room. Two of the drivers are passive radiators, which cancel out internal resonances thanks to the opposite arrangement of the two drivers. The construction principle of the closed housing ensures maximum precision and additional depth thanks to the passive membranes. The active driver is designed according to the downfire principle to ensure the best possible coupling of the bass waves to the room. All three drivers have been specially developed for this subwoofer and are made of aluminum to meet the high requirements for deflection and impulse fidelity.
800W digital power amplifier
The Bravus II 10D subwoofer uses an efficient Class D high-performance amplifier with a high-current switching power supply. This enables maximum performance and maximum control, even in deep bass, while maintaining the musical accuracy and level of detail expected by music lovers. Short pulse peaks are just as dry and clean as long, earthquake-like deep basses. Despite the enormous power reserves, the output stage always remains cool even in continuous operation.
Design fabric covers
The metal brackets ensure a secure hold of the two side covers. The black acoustic fabric is completely opaque and completely sound-transparent. Possible damage to the speaker is also effectively prevented. If you don't want to see the membranes, you are in good hands with this variant. So the entire subwoofer looks like a design element. But even if you want to watch the drivers while working, you won't miss out. The covers can be removed, giving a clear view of the aluminum membranes.
Subwoofer as sound furniture
Due to the special construction principle as a closed construction with two passive radiators, the Bravus II 10D can produce brute pressure from a handy housing. The housing itself consists of 25mm HDF and is stiffened several times. The subwoofer is available in three different multi-layer paintwork. Satin black and white adapts perfectly to your living environment, as does the high-gloss black version. Even the highest demands on the processing of this fine sound furniture are met and make the subwoofer not only a feast for the ears but also for the eyes.
Flexible connection options
In addition to the two gold-plated RCA inputs and the LFE input for AV receivers, the Bravus II 10D can also be connected to your amplifier via the high-level input. This variant is particularly useful if your amplifier does not have a special subwoofer output, because you can easily connect the subwoofer to the loudspeaker output of your amplifier. You can also control the volume, crossover frequency and phase continuously at the terminal.
