The new stereo bolide from IOTAVX was invited to test at Hifistatement. Editor Finn Corwin Gallowsky was absolutely convinced of the stereo qualities of the AVXP 2-840:
"With so much performance at such a good price, there was a fear of having to make compromises. This fear was completely unfounded. The playback quality is in no way inferior to the outstanding level of performance. The AVXP 2-840 tends to play more directly and extremely precise, but its enormous power reserves still give it the ability to be calm and serene and create a highly stable stage image. The combination with the IOTAVX will do it a lot of good, especially for loudspeakers that come across as a little sluggish!"
