With the NSS Tripol, AperionAudio presents a uniquely constructed surround loudspeaker. Thanks to the all-round uniform radiation behavior, this tripole envelops you in an incomparably realistic sound. Here the saying "in the middle instead of just there" fits like a fist on the eye. On the front, the NSS Tripol is equipped with a 6.5 "mid-bass driver and the well-known 25 mm dome tweeter made of German natural silk. On the sides it also has a 4" broadband made of aluminum. When switched as a tripole, the loudspeaker emits extremely evenly and creates an atmospheric depth that is second to none. This exceptional talent has extremely handy dimensions and can therefore be perfectly integrated into any room thanks to the wall bracket option on the back.
Dome tweeter made of German natural silk
In search of the finest silk material, our developers came across a natural fiber from Germany with excellent properties for the reproduction of high frequencies. Each Novus speaker is equipped with this new tweeter, which uses a neodymium magnet and a ferrofluid-cooled voice coil to achieve a frequency response that extends up to 30 kHz. Highest precision, resolution and plasticity are the strengths of this ingenious design.
6" bass driver made of aramid fabric
Aramid fabric has excellent properties for the reproduction of mid and low frequencies. It is extremely stiff, but very light and strong. Thus, the aramid fabric bass driver perfectly follows the signal and achieves an excellent impulse response. Those who prefer precise bass and clean audible mids are well suited with this driver.
Broadband drivers made from aluminum
The two side broadband speakers made of aluminum play out of phase and thus ensure a maximum enveloping sound. In combination with the two chassis on the front, the result is a sound image which on the one hand reproduces extremely precisely and cleanly, but also has a diffuse, spatial component that cannot be achieved with normal direct emitters or dipoles.
Magnetic front covers
The magnets ensure a perfect hold of the front cover without any visible grid holes. Additionally it offers a simple way to change the cover. The black acoustic fabric is absolutely opaque and completely sound transparent. Possible damages of the loudspeaker are effectively prevented.
High quality multi-layer coating
Both available multi-layer paints, a matte white paint and a matte black paint make the speaker look outstanding. Both variants are elaborately polished and thus receive their noble appearance. The rounded edges make the perfect workmanship even better.
Flexible connection terminal
The gold-plated connection terminals on the speaker backside ensure the best possible support for your speaker cables. The clamps also allow the connection of banana plugs or cable lugs. Thus a secure connection and best signal transmission is always guaranteed.
