The search is over - the AVX17 is a multi-channel preamplifier that fulfills all wishes for the ultimate home cinema. Up to 17 channels - including up to four subwoofers and six ceiling speakers - can be controlled in different configurations. Nothing stands in the way of the ultimate sound fireworks in 3D sound with Dolby Atmos™ or DTS:X. Source devices are simply connected to one of the six HDMI inputs. Two HDMI outputs are available for image reproduction. All HDMI inputs and outputs feature 4K, HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
Features that are often purchased but rarely required, such as WiFi, Ethernet, streaming or DSP gimmicks are avoided. The AVX17 focuses on the most important task: Providing the best possible sound, regardless of whether it is multi-channel or stereo, whether film sound or music. Only the highest quality audio components such as the CS42528 DAC are used in the signal path. The intuitively operated and effectively working EQFlex calibration system is available for optimal adjustment of the sound to the listening room. For those who prefer to be active themselves, there are parametric EQs for all 17 channels. For example, four subwoofers can be fine-tuned independently of one another and operated as double bass array.
17 channels with Dolby Atmos™ and DTS: X
The AVX17 processes the audio signals of up to 17 channels simultaneously. Up to 9 loudspeakers in the listening level, up to 6 ceiling loudspeakers and up to 4 subwoofers are possible. Surround sound with 3D sound in Dolby Atmos ™ or DTS: X can thus be enjoyed to perfection.
Six HDMI inputs & two HDMI outputs
All eight HDMI inputs and outputs correspond to the HDMI 2.0b standard with HDCP 2.2 and are therefore 4K, HDR10, and Dolby Vision compatible. Look forward to the sharpest images and the most brilliant colors.
Numerous audio features
The AVX17 is also ideally equipped for multi-room applications with the separately controllable Zone-2. In addition to the analog and digital inputs, audio signals can also be played via USB from the PC or via the optional Bluetooth adapter (5.0 incl. aptX-HD).
EQFlex room correction
The proven EQFlex calibration system adapts the sound of the loudspeakers perfectly to the surrounding space. Each of the 17 channels is optimally set and can be adjusted to personal taste using parametric EQs if required. Eleven EQs are available for the front speakers and center, seven for each of the other speakers and five for each of the subwoofers.
Four individually configurable subwoofers
The individual setting of up to four subwoofers is also provided. Each subwoofer can be individually adjusted in terms of volume, phase and level. But that's not all, five programmable EQs can be set individually for each subwoofer in order to configure the sound perfectly.
