The Novus A5 Wall / Ceiling loudspeaker is characterized by its high flexibility and excellent sound thanks to its selected components. It is ideal for high-quality 3D sound systems, but also works great as a surround speaker in traditional multi-channel sets. As tweeter, the coaxial driver uses a dome tweeter made of natural German natural silk with ferrofluid cooling. The surrounding woofer is made of aluminum and has been specially optimized for its application. Thanks to the numerous mounting options, the A5 can always be optimally aligned to the listening position.
Dome tweeter made of German natural silk
In search of the finest silk material, our developers came across a natural fiber from Germany with excellent properties for the reproduction of high frequencies. Each Novus speaker is equipped with this new tweeter, which uses a neodymium magnet and a ferrofluid-cooled voice coil to achieve a frequency response that extends up to 30 kHz. Highest precision, resolution and plasticity are the strengths of this ingenious design.
5.25" mid/bass driver made of aluminum
The 5.25 "aluminum woofer provides a coaxial arrangement for accurate midrange and pristine bass. The optimized dispersion of this driver makes the loudspeaker perform amazingly on both the wall and the ceiling, so effects are rendered cleanly and with the utmost in locatability.
Magnetic front covers
The magnets ensure a perfect hold of the front cover without any visible grid holes. Additionally it offers a simple way to change the cover. The black acoustic fabric is absolutely opaque and completely sound transparent. Possible damages of the loudspeaker are effectively prevented.
High quality multi-layer coating
Both available multi-layer paints, a matte white paint and a matte black paint make the speaker look outstanding. Both variants are elaborately polished and thus receive their noble appearance. The rounded edges make the perfect workmanship even better.
Flexible connection terminal
The gold-plated connection terminals on the speaker backside ensure the best possible support for your speaker cables. The clamps also allow the connection of banana plugs or cable lugs. Thus a secure connection and best signal transmission is always guaranteed.
