The Verus III Grand Bookshelf bookshelf speaker, along with its third generation Verus series siblings, is packed with a host of specialized technologies. Our patented ASR silk dome tweeter provides a pristine, clean and accurate treble, which sets the standard in terms of both omnidirectional and distortion properties. Midrange and bass are covered by a driver made of kevlar fabric which, thanks to its outstanding material properties, works with excellent resolution both in the low-bass range as well as in the mid-range. The high load capacity of the loudspeaker in combination with minimal distortion ensures a well-balanced and harmonious sound. With the help of the lockable, back-sided bass reflex tube and the plug-in jumper on the terminal, the sound can be individualized even more.
Patented ASR dome tweeter
The ASR dome tweeter (Axially Stabilized Radiator ™) is designed to handle significantly lower frequencies than comparable tweeters. As a result, medium and high frequencies are emitted at the same angle as their bass counterparts. Another advantage of the patented design is the central stabilization of the tweeter, which effectively suppresses unwanted distortions. From the plucking of a violin string during a jazz live recording to the tire squealing in a Hollywood blockbuster, a pure and authentic sound is created.
Mid/bass driver made of Kevlar®
Kevlar® is the ideal material for mid/bass drivers. It is extremely stiff, durable and extremely light. Thus, the powerful magnet system has easy play and can follow the incoming signal exactly. Another advantage of the exclusive material is the effective suppression of resonances. So you can achieve an incomparably precise midrange and a crisp, dry bass with an enormous depth.
Magnetic front covers
The magnets ensure a perfect hold of the front cover without any visible grid holes. Additionally it offers a simple way to change the cover. The black acoustic fabric is absolutely opaque and completely sound transparent. Possible damages of the loudspeaker are effectively prevented.
High quality finish
The black piano lacquer and cherry veneer make the speaker look outstanding. Both variants are elaborately polished and thus receive their noble appearance. The rounded edges make the perfect workmanship even better. The included metal feet contribute to the extremely exquisite overall impression.
Flexible connection terminal
The gold-plated connection terminals on the speaker backside ensure the best possible support for your speaker cables. The clamps also allow the connection of banana plugs or cable lugs. Thus a secure connection and best signal transmission is always guaranteed. In addition the terminal has a jumper for adjusting the high tone to the room acoustics and the personal taste.
