The Grandis Concept
A true high-fidelity bookshelf speaker must master multiple disciplines at once: deep, controlled bass from a compact enclosure,
clean and natural midrange reproduction for voices and instruments, and detailed yet smooth high frequencies.
The Grandis GR8 was engineered with exactly this balance in mind, delivering dynamic, precise, and natural sound across all music genres.
Saturn Waveguide: 1.1" Silk-Dome Tweeter with Proprietary Coating
High-frequency reproduction is handled by a 1.1" (28 mm) silk-dome tweeter featuring a
proprietary coating. Combined with Aperion’s distinctive Saturn Waveguide,
this design delivers high efficiency, controlled dispersion, and an engaging blend of power, precision,
and fine detail – without harshness, but with a spacious and natural presentation.
8" A.F.G. Long-Throw Mid-Bass Driver
The GR8 features an 8" long-throw mid-bass driver using Aperion’s proprietary
A.F.G. cone (Aluminum–Foam–Glass Fiber). This multi-material structure is carefully optimized
for rigidity and damping, resulting in accurate timing, low distortion, and impressive bass extension for a speaker of this size.
