The loudspeaker manufacturer founded by loudspeaker developer Alexander Neben is sending a real cracker into the race with the WOOD & STYLE. The stylish compact loudspeaker not only impresses with its elegant design but also with a special acoustic trick, the low-resistance principle:
The human hearing is extremely sensitive in the mid-range up to approx. 2,000 Hz. The aim of the low-resistance principle is to keep the signal path free of any components in this frequency range. After all, every component on the crossover brings about phase and sound changes, many of which are undesirable and with disadvantages for the sound. Alexander Neben uses a trick here to harmoniously design the transition from the bass-midrange to the tweeter:
The level of the bass-midrange drivers is mechanically lowered towards the higher frequencies by the special damping. With the WOOD & STYLE 100, sound-changing components in the most important frequency range are completely eliminated.
As a result, the loudspeakers produce an incomparably direct, honest and pure sound. The stage illustration also benefits from this freedom and impresses with its tremendous depth and structure.
