AperionAudio introduces the next generation of the super tweeter family, the Super Tweeter Aluminum MK II. It is a special aluminum ribbon tweeter with a fantastic resolution. The Super Tweeter Aluminum MK II is able to reproduce the frequency range up to 40 kHz. Thanks to 5 selectable crossover frequencies and 5 volume settings, it can be flexibly integrated into your chain. Ultra-thin aluminum ribbon
In the middle of the Super Tweter Aluminum is an ultra-thin aluminum ribbon with a thickness of only 45 µm. The drive of the ribbon is guaranteed by magnets, but the highlight is the combination of the voice coil and the membrane in one design. So the membrane can be driven completely in the magnetic field. Due to the minimized weight and the evenly flat surface, high energy transfer can be achieved without any phase shift. The frequency response of the Super Tweeter Aluminum reaches up up to 40 kHz evenly.
Five selectable crossover frequencies
With the rear rotary control, you can activate the super-tweeter from a lower crossover frequency of 8 kHz, 10 kHz, 12 kHz, 14 kHz, 16 kHz or switch it off completely. This gives you maximum flexibility when you integrate the Super Tweeter into your system. You can more or less overlap your existing tweeter to lighten the sound from the 8 kHz or 10 kHz crossover frequency, or you simply let the Super Tweeter fill the gap above 14 kHz or 16 kHz.
Flexible sound adaptation
On the back of the Super Tweeter the sound can be further refined with the help of a second rotary knob. The treble can be adjusted from 0 dB to -5 dB in six steps. So the sound can be optimally adapted to your speakers, the room and your own taste.
High quality multi-layer coating
The Super Tweeter Aluminum MK II cuts an excellent figure both in black or white matt multi-layer lacquer and in black piano lacquer. The elaborate polishing ensures a noble appearance. The rounded edges allow the perfect processing to come into its own even better.
Flexible connection terminal
The gold-plated connection terminals on the speaker backside ensure the best possible support for your speaker cables. The clamps also allow the connection of banana plugs or cable lugs. Thus a secure connection and best signal transmission is always guaranteed.
